Matthew Arasmo

Matt attended his first Spring RYLA with a camera in-hand to fulfill an assignment for a high school photography class. Unknown to him, it was this experience, documenting the countless smiling faces of the weekend, that sparked a career as a professional photographer & videographer. For over a decade, Matt has been capturing RYLA events through his camera, as a RYLArian, Facilitator, Youth Committee member, Alumni, and now as RYLA 7255's Marketing Chair. Matt credits his years at RYLA for his development as a person and as a professional and he is honored to play such a role in facilitating the development of tomorrow's leaders. As Marketing Chair, he hopes to provide even more students with the same opportunity that he was presented.

After graduating with a B.A. from Stony Brook University back in 2021, Matt began his career as a media professional. He currently works for the sustainability company TerraCycle as a part of their in-house creative team.
