HOW DOES
STUDENT NOMINATION WORK?

While our RYLArian (Sophomore/Spring RYLA) application, is open to all students who are interested in the program in an effort of equitable access, The RYLA District 7255 Leadership team encourages school teachers, counselors and administrators to nominate students with exceptional leadership potential in their school to be reviewed in our priority applicant pool. Our open-application design is intentionally made available to students to ensure parity between schools who may not currently have a RYLA liaison/ambassador like yourself.

After completing your nomination, an e-mail will be automatically sent to the nominated student, requesting they complete our RYLArian application. This will allow our team to hear directly from your nominee in their application responses. Nominated student applications will automatically be tagged as such and reviewed during our priority application process.
