Spring RYLA 2026
Our annual Spring RYLA conference serves as the gateway to RYLA for student applicants. "RYLArians" are welcome to apply in their Sophomore year of High School. If accepted students will have the chance to participate in Spring RYLA and continue to climb the leadership ladder of RYLA.
RYLA is FOR students, BY students

The RYLArian position is the gateway to joining the RYLA District 7255 community. Each year, Sophomore students are invited to apply to participate in our Spring RYLA Conference as a RYLArian.
Throughout the weekend, RYLArians will participate in programming that is designed to introduce students to the spirit of RYLA: a community of motivated students passionately discovering their own leadership potential. The RYLA leadership team works to intentionally design our programming around "The 5 Guiding Principles of Rotary", which are: leadership, service, diversity, integrity, and fellowship. While the RYLArian application process is competitive, for most participants their RYLArian experience is just the beginning! Once admitted as a RYLArian, students have the opportunity to climb the "RYLA Leadership Ladder" and continue their leadership journey alongside their peers from across Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn and Queens. RYLA District 7255 hosts additional programs throughout the year that build off of the transformation Spring RYLA weekend- all of these opportunities and more (leadership positions, committee membership, Rotary engagement, scholarship opportunities, alumni networking, service retreats, etc.) all become available after RYLArians embrace the magic of Spring RYLA.
Spring RYLA itself has evolved over the years due to the enthusiastic response from our students, but remains committed to encouraging students to step out of their comfort zone and embrace their potential for leadership. Good luck with your application!
